April 17 Happenings

Hey Y'all! This week was a little longer but it was still good! Here is what happened.

Wednesday: Wednesday was a mess. First we went to Eugene and Carols apartment to see if they had read ( we had asked them to read and gave them TWO WEEKS To do it) if they hadn't we were dropping them sadly. When we got there sadly we found out that they had not read and they also mentioned that they found out they had bed bugs! SO we left imediately after testifying of the power of the Book of Mormon and that until they read we wouldn't be able to help them. Then we immediately biked back to the apartment and before going inside called the Senior Elder in charge of the housing to ask him what would be best to avoid them getting in our apartment. He said to immediately wash all our clothes on Hot and each take a hot shower as well as spray our whole apartment with  Prometherin. Which is some sort of bug poison that works really well. So we did that too and luckily we didn't spend hardly any time in his house after we forgot so we were fine and didn't have any bed bugs. That night I told Elder King, "Don't let the bed bugs bite". He didn't think it was funny. We also biked really far out and tried some potentials but they were not home. On the way back Elder King decided he needed a new back tire so we had to stop and get that. Over all it was just crazy but it all turned out fine. Then that night we went and saw this guy in are ward named Tremaine. He went into the Hospital the second day I was in Forsyth because of bleeding on the brain and stuff. He has been in a comma since then but now he is starting to come back he can't talk yet but he will soon. He can shake his head yes and no to questions though. It is unbelievable. It just goes to show the power of prayer. That is if it is the Lord's will.

Thursday: Today was pretty basic, We had a cool Lunch with the Chadwicks who are the senior couple that serve in Macon. They took us to waffle house. It was really good. I like waffle house. They have like a billion of them in Georgia too! Later we had a good lesson with Timmy again. He is a really nice guy and I can tell he wants to be baptized. Then we did some online Pros and talked to some people we are trying to teach through messenger. It is really pretty cool.

Friday: today was Friday the 13th haha. It was also weekly planning so that was annoying. But it was good to get it done and to plan some good stuff in. I am grateful for planning what we are doing though. It really helps. That evening we tried some more potentials but no one answered.

Saturday: Transfer calls were that evening. That was on my mind all day long. I was curious to see what would happen as every missionary always is. I am staying in Forsyth for another transfer. We also found out that we would be getting a new companion but that we wouldn't have to go to transfers and that President Grayson would drop him off at our apartment himself! That is very unusual. But it allowed us more free time so that was nice.

Sunday: Church was great! I got to relate to some of the members better because I had done the Dirty Dash and so that was nice. President and Sister Grayson also randomly showed up to let us know that we wouldn't need to go to transfers. It also poured rain really hard all day long. So that made biking a lot more interesting than normal.

Monday: was pretty average. Since transfers is tomorrow we don't have district meeting this week. So that is a little stress I don't have to deal with. I was really excited to meet my new comp. We also had an awesome video lesson where we read Alma 32 with Timmy. That went great!

Today: Elder Petty is one of my new comps along with Elder King still. Elder Petty seems really cool and I talked to him at other mission conferences. He is a cool guy and I can tell we will get along really well. I am excited.

Well that is the week. It was different and all but it was pretty good. Here are some pictures I took through out. I love you all and I hope everything is going well. Love Elder Blair. :)
